Australians love a drink; they also love a bargain. And when the two meet at the Cox’s Road Mall BWS, it’s a perfect match. Sal Basnet, who has been with the BWS family for two years, says his customers get better value for money with BWS than at the larger, warehouse bottle-o’s in the area. “The specials are really good here”, says Sal who comes from an independent bottle shop background, “if you work it out sometimes you even get 50% off with a couple of deals.”

BWS does exactly what it says on the tin: it’s beer, wine and spirits. There is an extensive selection of Australian beers to quench the thirst of any barbecue guest, as well as a fine selection of boutique beers for the more refined beer drinking palette. They carry a wide range of domestic and international wines in all shades of the grape vine. From a classic Shiraz to a sophisticated Pinot Gris, there is a wine here to perfectly compliment your next dinner party. And if you’re after something a little stronger, BWS stocks a large range of spirits from premixed drinks to the vital ingredients for your next cocktail party.

The Cox’s Road Mall BWS also stocks soft drink for the designated driver in the group, bags of ice and bar snacks making them the one stop shop for your next party. Closer to the Christmas period, BWS offer gift options for the hard to buy family member. Who wouldn’t love a bottle of booze and a set of glasses to go with it?

BWS give back to the community through cash donations with a yearly charity budget. Applying for a donation is as simple as filling out an application form in store with Sal, who then approves the amount donated.

A new feature BWS is offering its customers later this year is a click and collect service – ordering and paying online, then collecting in store at a time convenient to you. Sal reckons it will avoid disappointment if a popular brand sells out before his customers make it in store, which is the last thing anyone wants when the party is in full swing.
